Day 27: Pets
I have had my share of pets growing up. Mostly due to the fact that my sister has always been obsessed with animals. While we had your usual dog and cat, we also had some other pets that not most people would have. Pets I have had include:
- chinchilla named Chi-Chi
- ferrerts Skoshi and Kiki
- Boxer Bunny...yes it would box you!
- 3 colored chicks...mine was hot pink
- several turtles
- several cats-Callie, Prissy, Pooswa- Bernese Mountain Dog- Kaiser
- 3 hamsters in which I named them all Peepers
- Beta fish that lived 3 years named Kobe
- 2 frogs
- rescued dogs Max and Dixie
- last but not least my favorite little dauchsund Peanut!!

Day 25: I-pod shuffle
Well considering I don't have an i-pod, this blog post makes it a little hard for me to do. If I did have an i-pod and looked at the first 10 songs on shuffle it would probably be Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, Chris Tomlin, and Black Eyed Peas.
Hannah had her first picture day today and this is what she wore....she didn't smile as well as we can get her to at home. But I will proabably still order them b/c they are her first school pics. :)

Day 24: Something I've Learned
I've learned a lot in the past 25 years, but I've recently learned how well I am able to function on little amount of sleep. I think God has embedded something in women, that when they have kids, they just are able to keep going no matter how much sleep they get. I've also learned that men (atleast my man) is not able to do that. He has trouble getting doing "weekend duty" and those tend to be the days Hannah sleeps best.
I've also recently learned that I don't know how to spell the word definately (definitely, definatly)...I think I spell it different everytime and am unsure which was is the correct way...so I will probably continue to spell it wrong.
The other thing that I have recently learned is how amazing it is to be a mom and how much love I can have for one person. I know God called me to be a mom and wife before anything else.
And the last thing that I have recently learned is the power of prayer. I've always known how important it is to pray, but I don't think I believed it. (if that makes sense). Once Hannah was born I prayed constantly when she was in the NICU. I prayed more that week than I have my whole life. Then I started praying to be able to stay home with Hannah even though I thought it imposssible. But with God, nothing is impossible. I began to see him working in crazy ways through my prayers. And everyday I enjoy spending most all my time with Hannah. God is good :)

Day 23: Favorite Vacation
I've mentioned before that I was fortunate enough to have lived and been to amazing places. Growing up my family took a lot of vacations and I enjoyed them all. From beaches in Texas to Florida, Disneyworld, and vacations overseas...its really hard to choose just one. However, since being married, each year Conrad and I try to take one vacation by ourselves. We are hoping to continue that tradition even now that we have Hannah. I think my favorite vacation that we have had together (besides our honeymoon) would have to be Las Vegas. It was new to both of us and we enjoyed going to Hoover Dam, a Cirque du Soleil show, going to all the hotels and casinos, and Freemont Street. We also enjoyed laying out by the pool and just spending that time together.

Day 22: Makeup Bag
Well I am not one to wear a lot of make up or switch it up so my make up bag is very general. I have eye-liner, several different eye shadows, mascara, arbonne bronzer (the best), powder, and an eye lash brush, eye shadow brush, bronzer brush. That's about it :)
On another note, Hannah seems to be doing much better. We all got a little more sleep last night. :) She is still sleeping a lot during the day too, but that's to be expected. I'm hoping this medicine continues to do its job and get my baby back to feeling great! Thanks for those praying for her...its helped!
